Langxi, known as Jianping in ancient times, covers an area of 1,105 square kilometers with 7 towns, 2 townships and 1 provincial economic development zone. It enjoys the fame asHome of Chinese Green TeaandCity of water rhyme in the south of Yangtze River. Located in the southeast of Anhui province and the center of Yangtze River Delta, Langxi has smooth traffic and perfect location. It is also the place where 3 provinces Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang meet. It borders Nanjing and Changzhou, Jiangsu province. A mere 40-minute drive will bring you to Nanjing Lukou international airport 75 kilomters away.

There are 2 national highways: G50 (Shanghai-Chongqing high speed railway), G40 (Yangzhou-Jixi high speed railway), 4 trunk highways: National Highways 318 and 235 and Provincial Highways 214 and 202, 2 railway lines: Xuancheng-Hangzhou Railway and Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou high speed train, which is still under construction, and the Wuhu-Shanghai Canal, which connects the Yangtze River and Lake Taihu. By the year 2018, Langxi’s GDP has totaled 18.47 billion yuan, growing by 8.4%; fiscal avenue 2.77 billion yuan, growing by 8.1%. In the first three quarters of 2019,the GDP has reached 11.84 billion yuan with a 8.5% growth, ranking second in Xuancheng; from January through October, fiscal avenue has reached 2.603 billion yuan, rising by 6.4%, ranking third in Xuancheng; industrial electricity consumption increased 14.2% to 0.853 billion kwh, the fastest growth rate in Xuancheng; the profits made by industrial enterprises above designated size was up by 11.3%, ranking second in Xuancheng, and especially the value-added of the high and new technology industries, which rose by 29.4% and ranked first in Xuancheng. The output of strategic emerging industries has increased by 35.8%, also ranking first in Xuancheng.
